Upon graduation from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1985, Kevin began his practice with a
law firm then known as Taylor, Stafford, Woody (Taylor Stafford) in Springfield, Missouri. He later became
a partner and remained at Taylor Stafford for a period of 31 years. Taylor Stafford is recognized as a
preeminent law firm.
While at Taylor Stafford, Kevin was involved in a general civil practice handling matters for both plaintiffs
and defendants in various and sundry areas including personal injury, auto accidents, products liability, medical
malpractice, insurance coverage, workers’ compensation, real estate disputes, contract disputes, business disputes,
appellate practice, employment disputes, estates, probate disputes, etc.
In 1999, Kevin completed a multi-day mediation training workshop at the University of Missouri School of Law and added the role of mediator to his
practice. Since then Kevin has been asked to mediate civil cases of various types in both state and federal courts involving auto accidents, slip/trip and
falls, products liability, real estate disputes, employment issues, civil rights, business disputes, etc. His mediation practice grew and continues to grow.
Kevin has now limited his practice to concentrate on his role as a mediator.
For mediations, Kevin has no cancellation fee and no minimum charge. If a case only takes one hour to mediate, you will be charged only one hour.
Kevin is approved as a neutral by the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
